How To Use and General Information
- Spray - fill a spray bottle with fresh water and apply 6 drops of oil to the water per 100ml. Shake before use and spray windows, walkways, skirting boards, etc.
- Diffuser or oil burner - add oil to your diffuser or oil burner as per the operating instructions. Locate in places that attract insects.
- Ingredients - 100% natural Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus.
- Humane - Our product repels (they don’t like it!) and does not harm insects. It smells nice to us humans though :)
- Our oil can also be used in candle making should you choose.

How long does it take to work? We find that a consistent approach usually leads to the insects giving up and going somewhere else.
Can I make the strength stronger safely? Our oil blend contains a proprietary mixture of Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus. Nothing else is added. For oil burners and diffusers, we strongly recommend you follow the usage instructions for the appliance when using our product. If you are using our product on cotton wool balls to leave around the house, then using several drops (say up to 10 per cotton wool ball) is fine. Just remember to ensure that they are kept away from young children as they are a choking hazard. For dilution in spray bottles, etc. this really does depend upon the situation and usage. Our advice is to apply 10 drops of oil to the water per 100ml, but this can be increased if you feel a stronger scent is needed. Please only use stronger applications in well-ventilated areas, not directly on to delicate items or fabric/cloth and always away from children or pets.
Can I use regular tap water to dilute oil for spraying? Yes, you can dilute our repellent oil with water straight from the tap. Unlike ‘ready-made’ repellents that only have the capacity provided by the bottle purchased, our product goes further and is far more economical. Our 30ml bottle will make up to 6 litres of spray.
How much do I have to use? Our repellent is aroma based so you should use regularly to maintain the deterrent smell of our oil blend. For most uses following our usage and frequency instructions will provide a level of aroma to help in repelling insects.
Is your product pet safe? In general pets also are not big fans of the aroma of our oil blend, but in general do not find difficulty in living in homes that use smell-based deterrents. Like all essential oils our undiluted oil should always be stores away from children and animals. It should also never be used on human or animal skin or consumed. Our product only contains a proprietary blend of Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus so it is not poison based. This is why we created our effective, but humane deterrent.
Will I be allergic? Our product only contains a proprietary blend of Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus, so if you are not allergic to any of these substances then you will not have an allergic reaction.
Is it skin and food safe? Essential oils in their undiluted form should never be applied directly to the skin, however diluted essential oils (dilution by carrier oil, water, etc.) are safe to use on the skin or come into contact with food. Please always use our product after reading and following the usage instructions. Do not use if you are allergic to Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus.
Is your product tested on animals? Absolutely no cruelty or testing on animals has been used in the making of this and all our products. The only testing that has been done is completely humane testing to find the best blend of the essential oils used to be the most effective repellent.

Is your product toxic or chemically based? We only use 100% natural Peppermint, Rosemary, Thyme, Citronella, Sage and Lavender essential oil. PMD extracted from oil of Lemon Eucalyptus in our product. It contains no toxins or chemicals.
What happens if I get it on clothes, carpets, or cloth? Once diluted in accordance with the usage instructions and used as a spray our product will not stain or damage these items.
What science are your claims based upon? None… we just know it works because we use it ourselves. That's how the product was created many years ago :)
Is your product safe around children? You should always keep essential oils out of sight and reach of children. As our product was originally created because our kids really hated creepy crawlies, once dilute to the usage instructions and once old enough, you will probably find your children using it themselves. Our kids certainly have had fun spraying their windows and places where Insects may be hiding!
How often do I need to use it and how long does the small last? Because our deterrent is aroma based you should maintain the aroma in the places where you are trying to repel pests or bugs. We find that spraying once or twice per day, renewing cotton wool balls weekly and occasional oil burner/diffuser use is effective.
Is your packaging recyclable? Yes, all our packaging is able to be recycled with normal household recycling.
