🐞 CLEANING BRUSH INCLUDED: Each of our bee hotels includes a neat little brush to help you keep it clean. At the end of the summer and once all insect residents have left, simply use the brush to clean each of the bamboo pipes. We advise taking the bee hotel down in the Autumn and storing it inside until the following spring.

Where to Hang Your Bee House?
The best place to put this insect house is a sheltered area out of the wind around 5-8 feet off of the ground. It includes a hanging bracket so you can simply screw this into place or use twine or metal wire to attach it to where you want it. Keep your bug home in a place out of reach of dogs and cats and in an area that gets morning sun to prevent mould. Solitary bees like the warm so if you can place the house in a South facing position they will appreciate that.
Our bug house is protected from the rain with a galvanise metal roof allowing any rain water to simply run off onto the ground below.
